Azad’s Travancore Pakka Biriyani tells an Indian story over 200-years-old.
Azad Corporate House started its incredibly long journey in business by serving the Travancore Pakka Biriyani over eight decades ago for the common man in the southern tip of the Indian peninsula. This was a delicacy that was served in the kingdom of Travancore on special occasions like weddings and house warming. This delicacy has been around for over 200 years and more in this part of the world. Five years before World War II, our founder Meeran Pillai Pareed Kunju started offering this delicacy in his modest cafe at Vallakadavu in Trivandrum in 1940. This version of Biriyani in the Indian subcontinent became an instant hit in the southern tip of India.
By celebrating this wonderful and unique Biriyani Delicacy, Azad Corporate House grew into 7 verticals and 18 brands in a span of 84 years.
